Georgetown College Names Brad Compton as New Vice President of Finance/CFO

Georgetown College is pleased to announce that Brad Compton has been hired as the new Vice President for Finance/Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for the College. He will also serve on the President’s Executive Cabinet and the Board of Trustees.

Compton, who began his career as a staff accountant at Georgetown College, is now a seasoned financial expert and leader with over 25 years of experience in higher education. He returns to Georgetown after dedicating over two decades to Eastern Kentucky University, where he spent the last ten years as Controller and Associate Vice President of Finance.
Compton earned his bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University and a master of accountancy degree from Purdue University Global Campus. He has demonstrated excellence in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership throughout his career.
