The Board of Trustees for Georgetown College has elected five alumni members to begin their terms in 2026. New members include Dave Adkisson '73, Dave Baker '82, Christin Wood Calaway '99, Harold Dean Jessie '83, and Robert L. Mills '67. The Board of Trustees is led by Board Chair J. Guthrie True '81.

• Dave Adkisson ‘73 previously served seven years on the Georgetown College Board of Trustees, including two as chair. He received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Georgetown College and completed a master’s in ethics at Harvard University. He is a former Mayor of Owensboro, Kentucky, and led the effort to create Owensboro’s River Park performing arts center and to develop a 15-mile linear park, which was later named in his honor.  He is former President and CEO of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and a co-founder of Leadership Kentucky. While Dave was a student at Georgetown, he was president of SGA and a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He is a member of the Georgetown College Hall of Fame.  Adkisson lives in Lexington, Kentucky.
   
• Dave Baker ’82 is serving for his first time on the Board of Trustees. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Georgetown College. In his 40+ years at WKYT in Lexington, he has been a sports anchor, reporter, account executive, and now Special Projects Coordinator, in addition to now being one of the hosts of Everyday Kentucky, and the daily “Afternoon Buzz” on WKYT+. He has been a member of the UK Sports Network for 37 years and was a broadcaster of events for the Southeastern Conference for over two decades. Dave was inducted into the Kentucky Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2022. While a student at Georgetown, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He is very active in his community, currently serving on the Foundation Board of Baptist Health Lexington. Baker lives in Frankfort, Kentucky.
   
• Christin Wood Calaway ‘99 is serving for her first time on the Board of Trustees. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting, summa cum laude, from Georgetown College. She is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. She is Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Procter & Gamble and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Financial Reporting Committee for the Institute of Management Accountants. While at Georgetown, she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and Phi Beta Lambda. Calaway lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
   
• Harold Dean Jessie ’83 is serving for his first time on the Board of Trustees. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration/economics from Georgetown College. While at Georgetown, he had the highest GPA of his freshman class and was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta. He received honors at graduation in political science. He has 40 years’ experience in the professional pharmaceutical industry, retiring as a Senior Executive from Eli Lilly and currently is a Senior Mental Health Account Specialist and serves on the regional training department at Bristol Myers Squibb. Jessie is active in his community, supporting many organizations, and saving and refurbishing historical buildings. Jessie lives in Georgetown, Kentucky.
   
• Robert L. Mills ’67 previously served eight years on the Georgetown College Board of Trustees, including two years as chair. He received his bachelor’s degree in history and English, summa cum laude, from Georgetown College. He later completed a master's in history at Indiana University, an MBA in Finance at University of Cincinnati, and a banking degree at Rutgers. While at Georgetown, he was president of the sophomore class, vice president of Lambda Chi Alpha, and recipient of many academic awards, including the first Carl R. Fields History Award. He is a past president of the Georgetown College Alumni Association and a member of the Georgetown College Hall of Fame. He spent 40 years in executive roles at US Bank and PNC Financial Group. Mills lives in Owenton, Kentucky.
