About Public Health

Whether you’re interested in combating obesity through targeted PSAs or conducting research on the long-term effects of food deserts, our minor in public health will supply the educational background you need to help specific populations improve their quality of life. This minor particularly complements majors in the natural and social sciences, including biology and psychology.

Job Growth

By the year 2020, jobs are expected to increase by 22%  in health administration and 37% in health education—great news for students in Public Health!
