Mathematics

Math is everywhere, from fantasy football leagues and back-to-school sales to new construction and NASA launches. Our mathematics major encourages advanced quantitative reasoning skills as a base for cutting-edge scientific and industrial applications, and the success of our graduates is a testament to the opportunities this major will open for you.

Students majoring in math have higher LSAT and GMAT scores than students in any other major (+12.8% for LSAT, +13.3% for GMAT). GC graduates in mathematics have found great careers with their skills in statistical analysis, working as everything from a credit risk analyst to a business innovation consultant to a program manager for the US Air Force.
