Career Preparation

“After leaving GC, I obtained my PhD in clinical psychology at Louisiana State University (LSU). I am currently working at a private practice in Louisville, conducting evaluations for children and adolescents suspected of autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disorders, and other behavioral/emotional concerns. I keep in touch with some of the GC psych professors, and they are always willing to answer my questions. I am very appreciative of my time at Georgetown!”

BRIAN BELVA ’07

“Georgetown College encouraged me to find ways to combine my education and my passion for community service. An accounting professor connected me with the local Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, where I volunteered during my senior year, and I now work as the Director of the program in Louisville, KY.”
