Students must take exams at the scheduled times.
With the professor’s prior agreement, students may take exams in another section of the same course taught by the same professor.
Professors may not alter the examination schedule without the provost’s prior written approval. A student with three or more exams on the same day may petition the provost to modify the schedule. Such requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected] at least two weeks before final examinations begin.
If the professor approves students to take an exam with another section of the same course taught by the same professor, then no additional approval is needed.
If an exam time is not listed, the exam time should be rounded down to the nearest hour.
Online Classes: Online classes may meet in person for final exams. Instructors will notify the class if they are to meet in person. The instructor will reserve a room with the Registrar’s Office and notify students of the room number for final exam day.
