The Christian Scholars Program at Georgetown College fosters purpose-driven faith for students who seek to integrate faith into all aspects of life, grow holistically alongside others, and make a positive difference in the world. Through its core emphases on purpose, holistic growth, belonging, and service, CSP invites students to embrace meaning, cultivate resilience, pursue community, and celebrate generosity. Each CSP student receives a $500 scholarship that can be stacked with any other scholarship at Georgetown College.
REQUIREMENTS
- Attend CSP Directions Camp: The summer before their freshman year, CSP students attend a two-day retreat to begin exploring the program’s emphasis.
- Get Involved with Communities of Faith: CSP students commit to attending a local church, attending 2 on-campus chapel services per semester, and participating in periodic CSP communal gatherings.
- Explore Vocation: CSP students complete at least one vocation course during their time at GC and attend at least one vocation talk each semester.
- Attend GC Civil Rights Trip: During their time at GC, CSP students travel with other GC students, faculty, and staff to participate in the annual Civil Rights trip.
- Engage in Service: During their sophomore, junior, and senior years, CSP students commit to sustained service.
