GC Will Play UK in Men's Basketball Exhibition Game

Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky will play a men’s basketball exhibition game on Friday, October 27, 2023 in the Central Bank Center at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. This marks the third time the Tigers have traveled to Lexington to face UK in an exhibition since 2014. The last time Georgetown played an exhibition game against Kentucky was 2019. The Tigers went on to win the NAIA National Championship that season!
“We are very appreciative of Coach John Calipari, Chris Woolard, Mitch Barnhart, and all of the great people at UK for the awesome opportunity to compete against the Cats,” said Tigers Head Coach Chris Briggs. “With most of our roster being homegrown Kentucky kids, it is a very special and unique opportunity for them to have the experience of playing in Rupp Arena.”
