Auditor Mike Harmon announced the appointment of Georgetown College student Ashlee Lewis of Georgetown as one of the first students selected for the Auditor of Public Accounts’ (APA) new paid summer internship program. Lewis is among the first selected for the new paid internship. “I congratulate and welcome Ashlee as one of the first college students selected for the inaugural class of our ‘Follow the Data Internship Program!’,” said Auditor Harmon. “The goal of our new paid intern program is to seek out the best and brightest college students who have an interest in a future career with APA or government accounting as a whole.”
“I am super excited to further my career in governmental accounting as I take this step forward and intern with the state's auditors this summer,” Lewis said.
