Preparation for pharmacy school is all about completing the right courses so that you’ll have the skills and knowledge you need to start your pharmacy studies. With the personalized advising and dedicated support of our pre-pharmacy program, you will be able to find just the right pathway to your professional success, no matter what major you choose.

Our Pre-Pharmacy program is transfer-ready, allowing students to complete three years of coursework that can qualify them for admission to pharmacy programs. To get into pharmacy school, you need to complete the right prerequisite courses—but you can major in anything and still get in if you complete the required courses.

No specific major is required, but most schools of pharmacy recommend that applicants have a strong background in the social, behavioral, chemical, mathematical, and biological sciences, as well as in business.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

Our Pre-Pharmacy students shadow pharmacists in the area. We work closely with the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy to ensure our Pre-Pharmacy students are fully prepared to begin and complete the Doctor of Pharmacy program at UK.
