Marketing

In a capitalist society, marketing plays a major role in controlling supply and demand through research and targeted advertising. As a marketing major, you will examine how consumers make decisions and how to discover needs and wants as effectively as possible in an increasingly complex global environment. Past graduates have worked and/or studied on six continents. (If any graduates have worked in Antarctica, please let us know so we can update this figure.) Kevin Costner and Shaquille O’Neal both majored in Marketing in college, as did Marketing professor Dr. Scott Takacs, but none of us have been mistaken for the others.
