Finance

When it comes to money, timing matters. Spend before you earn, and you may pay interest on a loan; wait until after you earn, and you can earn interest on your savings. This core principle affects both stock and bond prices and guides companies’ choices on investing in new projects. The Finance major explores this critical relationship and its impact on stock and bond markets, personal retirement savings, home borrowing, and business expansion. You will also examine how technology drives modern finance, from digital trading platforms and financial analytics to fintech innovations that reshape banking and investment strategies. Through this major, you will develop a strong understanding of economic decision-making and gain the skills to navigate the world of finance with confidence.
