International Business and Culture

Our cutting-edge interdisciplinary major in International Business and Culture emphasizes the deep connection between business and culture. If you’re aiming for a career with an international company, domestically or internationally, this major offers a strong foundation. With robust language programs in Spanish, French, German, and Japanese, you’ll have numerous study abroad options. Despite only about 1% of college students studying abroad, understanding the global marketplace remains a top priority for most companies. Notably, the fastest-growing major cities globally are predominantly outside the United States—only Mexico City is in North America.

Student Testimonials

“My degree in the field (with an emphasis in Japanese) provided me great leverage in obtaining my job, as I was able to differentiate myself from other Business Majors right on top of my resume. On the job, I work with people all around the world, obtaining information and developing processes. Understanding their culture and mannerisms facilitates a more respectful relationship and drives higher results.” — Brittany McGurran ’10
