Economics

Ever wondered why you can negotiate the sticker price on cars but not on clothes? Curious about how the stock market works and why people invest their hard-earned money? Our Economics major explores the “why” behind the numbers, giving you a deep understanding of how individuals and societies make decisions and how those choices affect the world today and in the future. The program emphasizes human behavior in economic decision-making, covering topics such as behavioral economics, the economic history of the United States, environmental economics, public finance, government regulation of business, international economics, and labor economics, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into real-world economic systems.
