Professional Spanish

Degree Options

The Professional Spanish (corollary) major is only offered as a second major. Twenty-four hours are required, including CLC 319 Foundations in Culture and 21 hours in Spanish above SPA 102/115 to include the following: SPA 230, 235, SPA 355 Spanish for the Professions, SPA 357 Business Spanish, SPA 314 Latino Civilization and Culture, SPA 353 Introduction to Translation and Interpretation; Internship (WLN 360) is strongly recommended and will count toward the major.
