Pre-Physical Therapy

Our Pre-Physical Therapy Program is the perfect preparation for students interested in becoming a physical therapist. This program will help you navigate the process of applying to graduate programs and help set you up to be a strong candidate for physical therapy school.

GC has produced successful applicants to PT school from several different majors—including biology, exercise science, and health science. PT schools like to see volunteer or internship hours in physical therapy settings—and GC’s Graves Center for Calling and Career can help you find the experiences you need.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
You should plan to apply by the end of your first year at GC in the spring, or as late as your sophomore year, with at least a 3.0 GPA at Georgetown College when applying. Please submit a three-year academic plan and include a brief essay explaining your motivation to pursue a career in physical therapy.
