Sometimes the perfect degree doesn’t fit neatly into one department. That’s where Integrated Studies comes in. This major lets students combine multiple disciplines to build an education tailored to their goals.
Through this major, students blend theories and methods from two or more disciplines to tackle complex issues and build evidence-based conclusions. Students sharpen their written and oral communication skills for academic and professional settings. Students apply what they learn across disciplines to real academic projects, showing measurable growth along the way. And they learn to find, evaluate, and ethically use credible sources like a pro.
Both traditional and Adult Online students can pursue the Liberal Arts Concentration. Adult Online students have even more options, with additional specialized concentrations available. Adult Online students should note that they’ll need to meet with their faculty advisor each term to get course approval before enrolling. Your advisor will then confirm that approval with the registrar to finalize your enrollment.
