Editing and Publishing

Master the craft of print and digital publishing. Students master copyediting, developmental editing, digital publishing, and magazine design through two core courses. Writers and editors sharpen their skills through English courses focused on text evaluation and editing; designers build visual expertise through art or theater courses—or students can mix both paths to fit their interests.

This minor opens doors to editing and design careers in publishing and builds skills that transfer directly to marketing, communications, technical writing, and professional writing across business, science, and the humanities.
