This interdisciplinary major blends history, literature, politics, philosophy, and sociology to prepare students for a variety of careers by fostering critical thinking, emphasizing the interconnectedness of different areas of study, and cultivating a deep appreciation and understanding of American culture. 100% of graduates from the past five years were employed in their field of choice within 30 days of graduation. 50% of AMS graduates in the last five years went on to graduate or professional school; 100% of those who applied were accepted.
