In listening to the experiences of youth today, we hear the enormous challenges that our world is facing, including the mental health crisis, ecological issues, racism, and religious and political polarization. Christians are called to address, not ignore, these issues.
Our program develops leadership skills in high school students (9th-12th grade) who are ready to make a positive difference in the world. Students join a cohort (a group of people) spanning April to November.
Any student who completes Faithways Academy and is not receiving an exclusive scholarship to GC (such as athletics or Legacy and Legends) will receive a $10,000 scholarship to Georgetown College – $2,500 per year for four years.

- RESILIENT FAITH IS STRONG YET ADAPTIVE: Faithways invites students to become curious about their faith, recognizing that the freedom to ask questions deepens rather than threatens faith rooted in love of God, self, and neighbor.
- RESILIENT FAITH SEEKS AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY AND SHARED ABUNDANCE: We are called to a world where everyone is valued and there’s enough to go around. Faithways invites students to be themselves, engage in brave dialogue, value others’ perspectives, and imagine creating just societies together.
ACADEMY PROGRAM:
Virtual Spring Retreat
To launch Faithways programming, cohort members gather virtually in April for a retreat that introduces principles surrounding resilient faith: Rootedness, Curiosity, Adaptability, Soul Care, Authentic Community, Shared Abundance. Cohort members begin engaging in dialogue on these subjects.

Summer Camp
Located on the beautiful campus of Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY, the Faithways summer camp is the heart of our program. During this 5-day gathering on the Georgetown campus, cohort members take learning and exploration to the next level. Daily activities provide opportunities for spiritual and intellectual growth, rest, play, authentic and formative discussions and dialogues, and the pursuit of justice initiatives.

Civil Rights Trip
As a capstone experience, cohort members are invited to join a civil rights trip to Montgomery, Alabama, for an additional $100. Together, we will visit the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, the Legacy Museum, the Alabama State Capitol, St. Peter AME Church, and the Richard Harris House. Lodging, museum entry, and most meals are included.
