On National Awards Day, the NAIA announced a number of individual, team, school and academic honors. Georgetown College had 15 teams named NAIA Scholar Teams for the 2023-24 academic year. To qualify for the honor, teams must carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
“We’re thrilled to see such a high percentage of our programs earn this prestigious honor from the NAIA,” said Georgetown Vice President for Athletics, Chris Oliver. “This is a testament to the quality of the student-athletes we are able to recruit and develop at Georgetown College. We’d like to congratulate all of our teams, student-athletes, and coaches who played a role in these achievements.”
