GC Tiger Fans Urged to 'Orange Out'

Submitted on January 31, 2018

The basketball Tigers of Georgetown College welcome the Campbellsville University Tigers on Thursday, Feb. 1, for a matchup in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym. Women play at 6 p.m.; men tip at approximately 8 p.m.

This home court battle of the Tigers is both crowd-pleasing and super-exciting, and the rivalry always packs the house. It’s also a special night for GC as fans are encouraged to ‘Orange Out’ and show their school colors by wearing orange. Lots of it!

The ‘Orange Out’ event lets GC Tiger fans show their support for the student-athletes on the home team. This year, it is also to honor students of Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky. who may have experienced injuries or devastating losses of friends and acquaintances during the recent shooting incident.

Between the women’s and men’s games, fans who are members of the Georgetown College President’s Club will enjoy a reception in their honor in the Athletic Hall of Fame Room of the Bush Fitness Center next door to Alumni Gym.

Go GC Tigers!
