Potential Careers

“The classes at Georgetown have pushed me to become a better educator and implement change immediately in my own classroom. Professors are knowledgeable in their fields and always willing to share that knowledge so you may become the best you can be. I have always found support in the education program from other students and professors and each class has been an opportunity for us to learn from one another.”

 - Kristin Hughes, '17

“Georgetown College and the Department of Chemistry are great catalysts for any young motivated student looking for an impactful and rewarding future.”

 - Dan Schlipf '10

“I feel that the education I attained at Georgetown College led me to a career that will forever allow me to impact lives of many people. One of my goals as a teacher is to hopefully inspire the next generation of scientists much like my GC professors inspired me.”

 - Courtney Jernigan, '10
