The WRVG is led by Dr.Jerrica Rowlett.

"While spending years focusing on digital media and the Internet during my graduate studies, I never foresaw myself working directly with a college radio station and broadcast media. Thankfully, I can’t see the future! While advising WRVG has been one of the most challenging aspects of     my career, it has also been one of the most rewarding! Through many hours of researching broadcasting practices, self-teaching myself the software and hardware of radio, and help from those that have come before me, advising WRVG has become a passion of mine.

As a Georgetown College Alumna (Class of 2013), I remember walking by the station as a student and thinking about how cool it would be to have a college radio show. Unfortunately, I never took the steps necessary to fulfill those desires. While I currently still don’t have my own show, if   you tune in and hear a playlist of 2000s pop-punk playing, you can assume that I am working in the station and living out my college dreams of playing Blink-182 or Yellowcard on the airwaves while I tinker with the software.

I am lucky to work with a team of students who continually strive to make WRVG the best that it can be! I hope you tune in to their shows and support their hard work. "

Beck Armstrong

My name is Beck Armstrong and I’m originally from Lexington and I’m at Georgetown College to study Art and History. I’m interested in all kinds of music from Brockhampton to Arctic Monkeys to Stevie Nicks to One Direction, but my favorite artists right now are Dominic Fike, blackbear, Elton John, and Louis Tomlinson. One fun fact about me is that I have a dog named Duke, a cat named Cas, a hamster named Elton, and a bunny named lil Uzi. Another is that I was born on the anniversary of Julius Caesar’s death - I don’t really know what that means for me, but I do think it’s interesting!
