President’s home on Main Street about to have new residents

GC_pres_houseGEORGETOWN, KY – Passers-by the Graves House on Main Street in Georgetown, otherwise known as the college president’s home, may have noticed a large moving van parked in front recently.

M. Dwaine Greene and his wife Carolyn were completing their move from Buies Creek, N.C. They spent a few busy days in late September unpacking their belongings in preparation for officially taking up residence.

Dr. Greene assumes the presidency of Georgetown College on October 21.

The Greenes are currently traveling overseas as he ties-up some loose ends in completing the transition from Campbell University where he previously served as vice president for academic affairs and provost.

Dr. Greene was hired as Georgetown College’s 24th president in August of this year, replacing William H. “Bill” Crouch, Jr., who left after 22 years.
