Georgetown, KY – Bengals fans, there’s still some hope that the labor dispute between the NFL franchise owners and the players will be resolved next week and training camp could begin on July 29.

As that ray of hope came to light, the Bengals and Georgetown College officials agreed to extend the drop-dead date for a decision to sometime next week. (Originally, it was July 15.)

The College – knowing how important training camp is for the institution, the Scott County community and all the fans – has its crew ready.

Dean of Students Todd Gambill, who has oversight of Bengals camp, told WKYT-27 in Lexington “It’s not all financial. Each year, thousands of people come here for Bengals camp, some being on our campus for the first time. So it’s an amazing opportunity to showcase our college and community.”
