Georgetown College Graduate Education Online Programs Ranked High

Georgetown College’s online programs in graduate education continue to be ranked among the best in America. The 2018 U.S. News and World Report “Best Online Graduate Education Programs” listing released Tuesday (Jan. 9) ranks Georgetown College’s graduate education online programs at Number 101 (tie) out of 309 institutions evaluated.
Georgetown College is one of only five Kentucky colleges and universities included among the top 150 nationally. It is one of only two private institutions in the Commonwealth among the top 150.
“I am proud of the quality and influence of our graduate program in Education,” commented Rosemary Allen, Provost and Academic Dean. “Because our program develops and supports the competencies of teachers across the state, the program has an immense impact on the future of education in the Commonwealth.”
Data considered in the U.S. News evaluation include student engagement (35%), student services and technology (20%), faculty credential and training (15%), peer reputation (15%), admissions selectivity (15%).
Georgetown College’s Graduate Education Program is accredited by NCATE, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and offers flexible and high-quality course sequences by caring available faculty who have extensive online teaching experience using innovative approaches. All online education classes are recorded and archived to students can access the information on their own time.
