WRVG is one of the Bluegrass Region’s only full-powered, independently programmed and operated broadcast outlets. In addition, the station is run entirely by students of Georgetown College. These two things mean that the station is able to offer real-world broadcast experience in a nurturing educational environment. Our DJs produce their own shows, our News Reporters write and record stories about topics important to the college and the community, and our Sports Broadcasters provide live play-by-play and color commentary for Georgetown College Athletics as well as offering their own analysis and opinions on-air and online.
Our staff is always growing and changing. If you are a Georgetown Student looking to help make WRVG great, please contact one of our station directors for more information on becoming a member of our team!
Sydney has been with the station since 2012. She handles our day-to-day operations, making sure we remain on the air and that our equipment is up-to-date and functioning smoothly. She also handles special events.
