The Writing Center is designed to assist students with writing assignments,
creative writing, and internet searches. It is available to all Georgetown
students.
Thanks, in part, to a generous grant from the Steele-Reese Foundation, the Center has been expanded to include an extensive library of writing exercises and tutorials to assist students in writing across the curriculum. This page features an in-depth description of the various services available to you.
The Writing Center is conveniently located in the basement of the Anna Ashcraft Ensor Learning Resource Center, in room LRC-016. To make an appointment, call our hotline at 8423 during operating hours.
The Writing Center holds the following weekly hours:
- Monday: 12:30 - 4:30 pm, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- Tuesday: 9:30 - 11:00 am, 12:30 - 4:30 pm, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- Wednesday: 12:30 - 4:30 pm, 7:00 - 11:00 pm
- Thursday: 9:30 - 11:00 am, 12:30 - 4:30 pm, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
- Sunday: 7:00 - 9:00 pm
The Center is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
