Rosenwald Schools in Kentucky Exhibit

The Underground Railroad Research Institute and the Georgetown College Art Department have created an exhibit celebrating the impact of the Rosenwald Schools on black education in Kentucky. The exhibit provides background about lives of the Schools’ founders, Booker T. Washington and Julius Rosenwald and includes several rare photos of Kentucky Rosenwald schools. UGRRI is allowing venues to borrow the exhibit for display. The exhibit was unveiled at the African American Ball, January 27,2007.
