What makes us unique?

Students in the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies are exposed not only to the traditional core teachings of theatre, but also have the chance to develop skills in the areas of filmmaking and performance of non-dramatic literature. The size of the Department allows students to have direct contact with their professors and guest artists, as well as take on roles such as director, stage manager, lighting designer, or production designer, to name just a few.

The Department collaborates as a whole for its productions, be they stage or screen, which allows students the chance to build their communicative and cooperative skills. Students work as equals with professors during productions, and their input is often seen in the finished products.
