Chorale & Concert Choir

Chorale is a select choral ensemble of approximately 40 singers. Auditions for Chorale are held during the first few days of classes in NMB 016. It is an auditioned group that provides music both on and off campus, including a tour each spring. Concert Choir is a non-auditioned group that presents a major work each semester, accompanied by a chamber orchestra. The Director of Choral Activities will conduct both groups.

Handbell Ensemble

The Handbell Ensemble is open to all students and need not be a music major.

Maskrafters: Theater & Film

The Georgetown College Maskrafters is the oldest collegiate theater company in Kentucky and offers traditional theater opportunities, emphasis in creating original work, and new initiatives in digital motion picture art. Open to all students interested in theater. On-stage and back-stage opportunities available; need not be a drama major.

Pep Band

This ensemble performs at home football and selected basketball games each semester, plus at a veritable plethora of other campus and community events. Over the years, the FTGPB has become a point of pride for our entire campus community. Additionally, the FTGPB travels extensively on a regional and national scale.  Rehearsal times scheduled on an “as need” basis.

Symphonic Band

A large instrumental ensemble that performs a wide variety of literature composed, arranged, or transcribed for brass, woodwinds and percussion. The Tiger Symphonic Band performs one on-campus concert each semester, embarks on regional tours, and performs for other campus and community events. Rehearsal times are at 4:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
