An organization for college and other post-secondary students who are interested in business. It is affiliated nationally with FBLA (a high school organization). The main goal of the organization is to develop leaders. Locally, the chapter is involved in various projects, which help members develop leadership skills, such as partnership with business, American enterprise education, and community service. Student members compete annually with students from other state chapters in various events, such as accounting, economics, management, public speaking, parliamentary procedure, and business decision-making. State winners compete at the National Leadership Conference. GeorgetownÔÇÖs chapter consistently wins or places second in the Outstanding Chapter event, and their reports of chapter projects place in the top ten nationally each year.
