Kappa Pi offers opportunities as a social organization and an honor society. Kappa Pi membership consists of consists of students, faculty, and staff with an interest in visual art. Membership may be attained as a student, in addition to alumni, sponsor, associate, and honorary membership.  Student members must maintain a 3.0 GPA in art course work and at least a 2.5 in overall academics. Students not meeting these criteria are welcome to attend meetings and participate in events until such standards are attained. The Alpha Omicron Chapter of Kappa Pi was established at Georgetown College in 1946 and has been active for more than 60 years. Campus advisors are the Director of Art Galleries and Curator of Collections, Laura Stewart, who is assisted by Dr. Juilee Decker, Art Department Chair.
