The Fine Art Department at Georgetown College has a student run art organization devoted to student engagement in the visual arts. Participation is open to all students, regardless of major. Formally associated with the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Kappa Pi (established at Georgetown College in 1946) the students now design and tailor the organization to the needs of current students. The organization takes yearly out of state trips during fall break (ex: Chicago, Atlanta, Washington D.C., St Louis, and Athens/Savanah GA) as well as more local trips throughout the year. Many oportinites for student projects on and off campus are available as well as collaborative events with other schools. Campus advisors are the Director of Art Galleries and Curator of Collections, Alisa Reynolds, who is assisted by Professor Daniel Graham, Art Department Chair, and Professor Darrell Kincer.
