Community of Trust

Georgetown College is committed to providing a safe and comfortable living/learning environment for all students. Because of this commitment, all organizations (including but not limited to clubs, fraternities, sororities, etc.) as well as organized groups (including but not limited to athletic teams, etc.) are expected to act responsibly so that all students have the opportunity to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, and socially. In addition, it is the CollegeÔÇÖs hope that all members of the Georgetown College community treat each other with respect, dignity, and in a Christ-like manner.

It is also important that Georgetown College demonstrate transparency to help build a trusting community. Disciplinary sanctions against an organization and/or organized group for conduct that is unbecoming of Georgetown College standards will be made public to the Georgetown College community by way of email (Tiger Tidbits or other avenue).
