The Student Investment Team

The Student Investment Team is an innovative hands-on educational program, which allows selected students to invest a small portion of the college’s endowment in equities that they research and select. Six students are chosen to participate on the team based on leadership ability, teamwork, creativity, common sense, academic standing, and aspirations to work in the financial area after graduation. The team receives on-going consultation and assistance from an academic advisor. Applications for the team are available to interested sophomores and juniors in February of each academic year. Application essays are reviewed by a selection team and candidates are chosen based on: (1) their ability to meet the criteria listed above and, (2) their capability in communicating those abilities effectively.
