President’s Ambassadors
Requirements for Consideration
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Rising junior
- Outstanding leadership and public relations abilities
Duties of the Ambassadors
- Speaking before groups visiting campus (such as trustees, associates, alumni, and other friends of the college)
- Serve as a host/hostess at official college events on campus (dinners, receptions)
- Represent the college at various off-campus activities (such as alumni association meetings, recruitment programs, and meetings)
- Participate in a one-day training program for the Ambassadors and an etiquette and protocol session
- Occasionally give tours and have lunch with prospective students visiting the college and offer overnight housing for them
- Trip with the President
