The President’s Ambassadors Program is a unique group of students selected from the 1,700 students at Georgetown College (GC), Georgetown, Kentucky to serve and represent the College in multiple capacities.
President’s Ambassadors serve as official student representatives on behalf of the College and the College President at a variety of campus and community functions. President’s Ambassadors showcase the excellence of Georgetown College to the College Community and are role models of professionalism, hospitality, character and Tiger Pride.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Georgetown College President’s Ambassador Program is to:
• Represent the College and the College President with the highest standards on and off campus at all times.

• Serve the College’s needs and the needs of the surrounding community.

• Support and enhance the College’s understanding of its unique diversity.

• Create an atmosphere that is conducive to the development of each President’s Ambassador’s personal and professional life beyond other College experiences.

All of the above shall adhere to the goals and mission of the President and promote the best interest of Georgetown College and its students.

What do the President’s Ambassadors do?

President’s Ambassadors work collaboratively with President Crouch representing GC and its mission and goals. At the most basic level, they are volunteers who give their time, talent and enthusiasm freely for the advancement of Georgetown College.

How do they do this? 

• Ambassadors participate in campus and community functions and events and often serve as guides for VIPs and special guests of the College.

• In the past, the Ambassadors have volunteered at events such as:

  1. Football games
  2. Donor dinners
  3. Planning activities
  4. Accompanying the President
  5. Writing thank you notes
  6. Speaking with prospective students on VIP Days

• Most Recently the Ambassadors have represented the College while participating in events sponsored by:

  1. The President’s Office
  2. Faculty, such as Human Trafficking
  3. Escorting VIPs
  4. Chapel Ministry Team
  5. Student Life
