Freshman Family Groups Coordinator

  • Assists in the selection and pairing of upperclassmen “parents” who will support and mentor freshmen
  • Selects small group study material and equips parents to lead their small groups through the curriculum with one-on-one mentoring and weekly, corporate parent meetings
  • Plans fellowship and training opportunities for parents, including a parent training meeting at the start of the fall semester
  • Seeks to network freshman into other programs in Campus Ministry
  • Organizes the Fall Retreat for Campus Ministry, which generally occurs in September and involves kicking off both freshman and upperclassman ministries
  • Recruits and oversees the Leadership Exploration Team in the spring, which involves choosing the freshmen who will be involved, running weekly meetings and arranging service and leadership opportunities for the team
  • 2.5 minimum GPA
