CSC 522: Implementing STEM in the Classroom with Robotics (Summer 2 – 2013)

CSC522: Course will meet face to face on June 18-20 from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm and attendance is required. Participation in one robotics camp is required. Three camp opportunities will be held on Georgetown College’s campus and an additional camp will be held in Lexington.

Morning camps: June 24 – 28 Booker T. Washington (Lexington); July 8-12 Elementary Camp (Georgetown College); and July 15-19 Middle School Camp (Georgetown College), and July 22 – 26 (Paris). Each of these camps run from 9 – 11:30.

Afternoon camp – June 25 -27: June 25 from 1 – 5 p.m.; June 26 from 12 – 5 p.m.; and June 27 from 1 – 5 (ish).

The remaining portion of the class will be online.

Elective for IT Endorsement, MATL, & MA (content for technology and science / math). No previous robotics experience is necessary.
