Georgetown College Robot Camps 2016
This year our theme is Going Going Gone. Using Lego EV3 robots campers will create and
program robots to complete real-world tasks. Then we will end the week with Robot Wars!

LOCATION: Ensor Learning Resource Center, Georgetown KY (map link – note: there is an entrance on Mulberry Street): Enter from either the front or back door and proceed to the lobby. The camp is in the Ward Room on the first floor.

Elementary School Camp (entering 4th grade – completing 5th grade): June 27 – July 1
Middle School Camp (entering 6th grade – completing 8th):
July 11 th – 15 th 2016
9:00am – 11:30am
$50 non-refundable deposit (credit card or check) required to hold your place in the camp
$130 per camper
$100 per camper (Georgetown College faculty, students, alumni)

STLP Georgetown College Robotics Use competition was held at the STLP State Showcase.
Classes / Professional Development Opportunities
CSC 522 – Summer 2, 2015: Course will meet face to face on June 16-18 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm and attendance is required. Participation in one robotics camp is required. Two camp opportunities will be held on Georgetown College’s campus: June 22-26 & July 6-10. Others may be available. If you are not able to come to campus but still wish to take this class, contact the professor. The remaining portion of the class will be online. More information may be found on the website at http://www.georgetowncollege.edu/robots. Elective for IT Endorsement, MATL, & Rank 1 (Technology class). No previous robotics experience is necessary.
If you are a teacher and would like to attend the June 16-18 class sessions for PD, please contact Dr. Andrea Peach at email@example.com. There is no charge for the PD, but spots may be limited.
