Georgetown College Robot Camps 2017

This year our theme is Robots in Space. Using Lego EV3 robots campers will create and program robots to complete real-world tasks, including landing on a comet, controlling a Mars rover, traveling to the Space Station, and clearing space debris. We will also, of course, battle evil alien robots for control of Earth! Will you have the Last Robot Standing?

LOCATION: Ensor Learning Resource Center, Georgetown KY (map link – note: there is an entrance on Mulberry Street): Enter from either the front or back door and proceed to the lobby. The camp is in the Ward Room on the first floor.

Elementary School Camp (entering 4th grade – completing 5th grade): June 19 – 23

Middle School Camp (entering 6th grade – completing 8th): June 26-30 

9:00am – 11:30am

WE NOW HAVE 10 SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR ELEMENTARY KIDS
WITH THE MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP DATES

$50 non-refundable deposit (credit card or check) required to hold your place in the camp
 $130 per camper

 $100 per camper (Georgetown College faculty, students, alumni)

Competitions

RCX Competition Regional Tournament was held on March 4, 2017 . 

STLP Georgetown College Robotics Use competition will be held at the STLP State Showcase.

Professional Development Opportunities

If you are a teacher and would like to attend the robotics camp(s) for PD or to volunteer, please contact Mr. Joe Kosin (robots@georgetowncollege.edu). There is no charge for the PD, but spots may be limited.
