The Faculty-in-Residence (FIR) Program is one of the ways in which Georgetown College seeks to facilitate, strengthen, and expand interaction between faculty members and students beyond the classroom or laboratory setting. The program is intended to afford members of the faculty with a broad interest in student affairs the unique opportunity to involve themselves in the life of the undergraduate residential community. Students living in this community will be able to engage in a variety of on and off campus activities and projects designed to enhance their intellectual, social, and personal development.
The building is broken up into four units, each with 3 bedrooms that fit 5 students, one bathroom, and a common space. A faculty member resides in one of the units and students reside in the other 3 units.
