Campus Worship

The Worship of God is a central feature of life at Georgetown College. Thirteen times each academic year, the College (administration, faculty, staff, students) gather for worship. These services are intended to provide challenge and inspiration, to appeal to the head and the heart, and to corporate both classic and contemporary elements of worship. The services of worship are designed to reflect both the Baptist heritage and the ecumenical commitments of the College.

Campus worship is under the direction and leadership of HK Kingkade, Director of Religious Life.   Assisting him are the Chapel Ministry Staff and and the Chapel Leadership Team.

A new member of the worship team is Dr. Dan Tilford, recently installed as Organ Master of the College. He plays the four-manual French Romanic organ built in Holland by the Johannus company and installed by Rivierstad of Louisville. View a short video of the installation of the organ in the chapel.

HK Kingkade is available for conversation about any aspect of the campus worship and is always open to recommendations.

All services of worship are open to the public and all people are encouraged to attend, especially potential students, parents, ministers, trustees, and friends of the College.
