New Student Web Registration Option

Step One: Go to the New Student Information Webpage

For Fall Students: If you are entering Georgetown College during the Fall Term, go to the New Student Checklist to make certain you have completed the various procedures for coming to Georgetown College. When you have reviewed this list you may then click on the New Student Info link and then click on New Student Web Registration option under the Registrar's Office listing.

For Spring Students: If you are entering Georgetown College during the Spring term you may proceed to Step Two below.

 

Step Two: How Do I Get Registered?

Read the steps below to understand the process of registering for courses.

  1. After submitting your $200 Enrollment Deposit, you will receive a packet from the Registrar's Office that will include a course schedule and a Class Preference sheet for choosing classes for the upcoming semester.
  2. Plan out your Schedule.
  3. Complete and send Class Preference Sheet via Mail or by this Internet option. Also complete the Advising Form found in your packet and return it through the mail.
  4. Registrar's Office assigns a priority number based upon the date Class Preference Sheet is received.
  5. Registrar's Office creates a Tentative Schedule based upon your Course Selections & Alternate Courses.
  6. When you attend an Early Registration Workshop, you will meet with an Advisor to review your Tentative Schedule, and you can make any changes needed.
  7. Before classes begin you will receive a final copy of your schedule in your campus mailbox.
  8. During the first week of classes you may make schedule changes during the Drop/Add period.

If you have read the Guide for Selecting Classes you may proceed to STEP FOUR below. Otherwise it is strongly recommended that you read the copy in your packet or this online version below. Select between Fall or Spring.
