Brandt Brooks, Class of ‘06, Dental Medicine

Brandt graduated from Georgetown College with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Chemistry and Biology. He went on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2011. He is currently the dental director at a public health center that provides medical and dental services to people of the greater northwest Kansas area at reduced fees or for free. He is also responsible for the clinic’s outreach program that provides dental screenings and fluoride treatments to thousands of children who are underprivileged and/or do not have adequate access to quality dental care. “Every day I relate to my patients on a fundamental level that would not be possible without the knowledge my degree in Psychology has afforded me.”
