Tigers Ready for Conference Play

Georgetown College women's and men's basketball will tip off the season in the coming months. The Mid-South Conference has announced the 22-league, home and home dates. Games will be doubleheaders on Thursdays and Saturdays with a couple of Mondays as well.
It starts with a road swing Nov. 19 and 21 to University of Pikeville and University of the Cumberlands, respectively. GC opens home play with Freed-Hardeman University and Bethel University, Dec. 3 and 5.
The teams take a conference break until New Years' Eve when Lindsey Wilson College comes to town. Cumberland University is in Georgetown on Jan. 2.
The Tigers travel for a Monday game with Campbellsville University on Jan. 4, finishing that week at Shawnee State University and Thomas More University.
GC hosts Martin Methodist College and Life University Jan. 14 and 16 to finish the first round of conference play.
The next week, the teams travel to Bethel (Jan. 21) and Freed (Jan. 23), and finish January with home games against Cumberlands (Jan. 28) and Pikeville (Jan. 30). The Tigers go to Cumberland (Feb. 4) and Lindsey (Feb. 6), before hosting a Monday game with Campbellsville on Feb. 8.
Georgetown finishes conference road play Feb. 11 at Life and Feb. 13 at Martin Methodist, before finishing the regular season at home with Shawnee State on Feb. 18 and Thomas More on Feb. 20.
