Submitted on December 14, 2020
Georgetown College is proud to introduce Tiger Talks, series of important conversations featuring past and present legends of Georgetown College. The first event will be held on Thursday, December 17 on Facebook Live and will feature championship coaches of GC. Subsequent events will be held each month.
Tiger Talks seeks to engage alumni by bringing several legends of Georgetown College into a conversation about what makes GC so unique, how they’ve helped shape the college over the years, and what exciting things await GC. Each conversation in the series will focus exclusively a particular group from GC, from faculty to alumni and even current and former Georgetown College presidents.
"Those selected to serve on the Tiger Talks panel have had amazing careers, and today they are spread across the globe contributing to their communities," said Christy Mai, Assistant Vice President of Advancement and Community Relations. "With Tiger Talks, Georgetown College brings these inspirational figures together for stimulating conversations. Tiger Talks will feature coaches, faculty, staff, alumni, and even presidents of Georgetown College. You don’t want to miss this incredible opportunity to hear from key figures from Georgetown’s past, present, and future!"
The first event in the series, featuring legendary GC coaches, will take place at 7:00 pm EST on Thursday, December 17 and will feature Men’s Football Coach Bill Cronin, former Men’s Basketball Coach Happy Osborne, former Women’s Volleyball Coach Donna Hawkins, and former Women’s Basketball Coach Susan Johnson.
