Communication Professor Keynotes Monthly Woman's Association Meeting

Susan Dummer, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Communication and Media Studies, is the scheduled speaker for the November luncheon meeting of Woman’s Association of Georgetown College. Dr. Dummer who has been on faculty since 2006 has titled her talk “Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Other Myths of Girlhood.”
This lively presentation will follow a delicious buffet lunch which begins at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the Jones-Hall-Nelson Suite of Cralle Student Center on East College Street. Luncheon tickets are $14 per person. Reservations should be made by Thursday, Nov. 16 to either Deb Sewell, firstname.lastname@example.org or Macy Wyatt, email@example.com.
The Woman’s Association of Georgetown College exists to foster the interests of the school by the establishment of scholarships for women students. It has been awarding monetary support annually since 1897.
