CASE-KY Bestows Grand Awards
Submitted on December 13, 2017
Contributions and support by alumni led to special recognition for Georgetown College during the 2017 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Kentucky Conference held recently in Lexington.
The College’s Institutional Advancement team accepted two CASE-Kentucky Grand Awards acknowledging their efforts to inform, inspire, and challenge which resulted in increasing the 2016-2017 alumni annual giving percentage from 11 to 26 percent. The Grand Awards particularly recognize the grassroots efforts by alumni in last year’s Love and Loyalty Campaign.
The two Grand Awards categories were Overall Best Practices in Communications and Marketing and Overall Best Practices in Fundraising. Judges were all out-of-state advancement professionals.

"The recognition of the College is the work of many people, including the contributions of time and gifts inspired by loyal alumni who spearheaded grassroots efforts of phone calls, letter writing, and in particular the establishment of a Georgetown College Love and Loyalty page on Facebook.com," commented Tricia Gaetz, Director of Annual Giving.
The Kentucky Chapter of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education has a long history of providing quality professional development that is both accessible and affordable to public and private institutions from across the Commonwealth. The CASE-KY Conference is held annually in December.
