Annual Pageant Selects Bell and Beau of the Blue

Bell White and Austin Bambach are the 2018 Belle and Beau winners. They were victorious in the annual Belle of the Blue and Beaus, Too scholarship pageant held this past Saturday evening (Feb. 24) in John L. Hill Chapel.
As Belle of the Blue, Ms. White receives a $1,000 scholarship and is eligible to represent Georgetown College in the annual Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival in Pineville. Mr. Bambach also receives a $1,000 scholarship as Beau of the Blue and may escort Ms. White at the Mountain Laurel Festival.

The 2018 Belle is a sophomore from Lawrenceburg and represented Sigma Kappa. She plans a career in elementary education.
Mr. Bambach is a junior biochemistry major from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was sponsored by Lambda Chi Alpha.
Judges considered GPA and essay scores and a personal interview in making their selection as well as poise and overall talent from performances during the pageant competition.
The scholarship pageant is presented by the Georgetown Activities Council (GAC).
