Tiger stack wordsGEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour presented by WalMart recently named Georgetown College men’s golf signee Matthew Feltner Player of the Year. The Simpsonville, Ky. native tallied 760 points this summer season, playing nine events and winning four.

“Matthew is another great addition to our men’s team,” said Tiger head coach Flash Williams.

“This is shaping up to be one of my best teams in a while. We will be young in some ways, but it could be really exciting. I look for us to make some noise in the conference tournament.”

Feltner won at Weissinger Hills Golf Course, The Bull at Boone’s Trace Golf Course, Oldham County and Shelbyville Country Clubs.

He also tallied a second and a third place finish to help bolster his summer total. For the summer, Feltner shot a 79-average with 15 birdies over the 180 holes played.
